Celebrating 145 Years of Faith, Legacy & Impact
St. Peter’s A.M.E. Church Anniversary Giving Invitation

For 145 years, St. Peter’s A.M.E. Church has worshiped, served, and stood as a beacon of light on the South Side of Minneapolis, lifting generations through faith, fellowship, and love. We praise God for every life touched, every soul strengthened, and every spiritual legacy built through this ministry.
Now it is our turn to honor what God has done and to sow into the next 145 years of ministry, mission, and impact.

You are invited to participate in our Anniversary Giving in two meaningful ways:
1. “Buy a Leaf” – Leave Your Legacy
Make a one-time sacrificial gift to help build our Anniversary Legacy Tree.
Minimum gift: $145 per leaf
Your leaf may honor a loved one, celebrate your family, or represent your support and commitment to St. Peter’s.
Our goal is to have 100 individuals or families purchase a leaf and help us build a permanent reminder of our shared legacy of faith.

2. “Sow a Seed – Take a Leap of Faith”
Give a sacrificial offering above your regular tithes and offerings in honor of this milestone anniversary. You may give weekly, monthly, or as a one-time offering.
Trust God to multiply your gift and position our church for future growth and ministry impact.
“Whoever sows generously will also reap generously.”   2 Corinthians 9:6
Every financial gift, regardless of size, helps ensure that St. Peter’s continues to strengthen our community, nurture our faith, and transform lives for generations to come. Thank you for celebrating this incredible milestone with us. Together, we honor our past, celebrate our present, and step boldly into God’s promises for our future.

Why We Give
In Scripture, “sowing a seed” represents putting our faith into action. When we sow in faith, God brings the increase. Every contribution becomes part of St. Peter’s ongoing witness, helping to nurture our community, strengthen our ministries, and leave a legacy for generations to come. Even small acts, when offered in faith, yield a bountiful harvest.
Please join us in praying for increase, provision, and favor so that together we may continue to serve God, love our community, and make a greater impact for generations to come.
